We’ve Moved to Electric Works!

Our new location: 1690 Broadway, Bldg 19, Suite 10, Office 121, Fort Wayne, IN 46802

You can find us in the awesome, new Carr Workspaces in the lower level.

Please note: we’ve moved our office within Carr Workspaces. See below for info.

How to get to our office

We get a lot of phone calls, emails, and texts as new visitors try to navigate their way to our super secret, high-security Blackbird nest. Since we believe so heavily in Lean processes, we created this page to cut down on the issues our guests have while trying to find their way to us. We don’t want your journey to cause you stress…and one less phone call, text, or email allows us to stay productive up until the moment you pass through our office door.

We’ve moved offices within Car Workspaces. Now office 121.

  • 1. Park

Free parking for up to 2 hours is available in the Sweeney Ave. lot and the parking garage. We suggest parking in the Sweeney Ave. lot because it makes finding us easy. You can also try the parking on Dynamo Alley by you better have good luck to try that. Button below will take you to a Google map link to the Sweeney Lot.

  • 2. Enter "The Forum"

Go in the door under the sign reading “The Forum”. This is accessible from both the Sweeney Lot and Dynamo Alley.

  • 3. The Forum lobby

If it looks like this, you are in the right place. Walk towards the big black desk in the middle for your next move.

  • 4. Go down the steps by the giant video screen. Take a right and then a left. Follow that hallway to the green desk.

  • 5. At the green desk, you'll probably meet Rachel (or maybe Hannah if Rachel is busy doing something very helpful for one of our neighbors). Ask for us and you'll be pointed in the right direction.

  • 6. Office 121--this is our NEW, new office

If by rare chance no one is there, continue straight past the kitchenette. Take the hallway on the right AFTER the blue wall. Then take the next right and we are right there at the corner.

If you’ve read to this point, followed the directions, and give us the top-secret password, “Yellow Submarine”, you’ll make it on our VIP list. Only those who have read this far will know about this. Be one of them.

  • If you need the elevator, read this:

Since our building is a gazillion years old the floor levels are weird and we don’t have a traditional elevator serving the lower level from the ground level. There is a “chair lift” you are free to use if you are not comfortable with the stairs or are rolling a load of cool stuff to share with us. It is to the left of the stairs, tucked away in an alcove behind an unsuspecting black door. It’s tricky to operate but I think our landlord is working on posting instructions. You can always ask someone at the giant black desk for assistance.
